An automatic scooter needs no gear-shifting and no motorbike experience beyond basic balance and road sense, which is why it's the rental most Siargao travelers actually want. The catch is the same as any bike here: police and LTO checkpoints ask for the vehicle's registration papers, and the cheapest roadside scooter often can't produce them — that's a fine, or a bike impounded in the middle of your trip.
Every scooter we place carries complete, valid registration (OR/CR) you can show at any checkpoint, comes serviced from a vetted partner, and is delivered to your accommodation with helmets included. Every vehicle we place carries its complete, valid registration papers — the OR/CR — kept with the vehicle so you can present them at any checkpoint. We vet every partner for this before their vehicles enter the fleet; it's a condition of being listed, not a nice-to-have.
